Press Release: The Bridge Assisted Learning School is taking shape

Assisted Learning School

ADvTECH Ltd has announced the introduction of The Bridge Assisted Learning School in Beverley, Lonehill. The school will provide specialised education for Grade 0 to Grade 7 children with a range of academic challenges that have necessitated intervention.
Limiting the class sizes to 12 pupils per class, and through individual intervention The Bridge aims to instil in pupils, not only the skills, but the self-esteem that will allow them to take on their learning journey with confidence.

“We are very excited about the launch of The Bridge,” said Mike Aitken, CEO of the ADvTECH Schools Division. “We know that there is a need for a specialist school to cater for the needs of pupils that may require focussed attention. We believe The Bridge will be well placed in assisting these pupils to discover their strengths in order to access mainstream education again,” he continued.

Construction on the site in Robert Bruce Road has already commenced and is progressing well. As this is a purpose built assisted learning school, the specific needs of pupils have been taken into account from the design of the building to materials that were chosen.

The school will accommodate approximately 200 pupils from Grade 0 to Grade 7. Applications for Grade 0 to 4 for 2018 are now open.
